FlextraLink™ is taken from Flexible and Strategic Writing Technology for preventing buffer under-run errors. In addition, it will monitor the data buffer status during recording process.

If data buffer is less than 1% of the total buffer used during recording process, FlextraLink™ will stop the current recording process by placing a marker in the blocked region. At this moment, new data will fill in the buffer zone while the PUH will also re-position itself. Once the buffer zone has stored sufficient new data for recording, the PUH will move to the track after the blocked region of FlextraLink™ to continue record.

This technique will also allow your PC to be accessible to other applications during the recording process.
